Hello, all! Apologies for the delay this month; I was walking a lot. Scottish Summer is so fleeting, but it can be perfect if you time it right — and get lucky. Always lucky, and a bit crazy.
The Edinburgh Fringe is doing its usual thing, creating a vortex that sucks in culture from the rest of Scotland and beyond. Great things happen over there, but don’t forget about your own neighborhood.
1.5 Months is hosting a gig on the 9th to fundraise for their upcoming all-dayer, featuring performances from Jer Reid, Harry Irvine, and many others. Offer your presence, give what you can, and always support local DIY scenes. Also be sure to catch MWAK at Sharmanka on the 23rd; unpredictable sounds in a mind-bending setting, invention layered upon invention.
